I've set this business up for one character but have not had a chance to see what the return from it is yet, hoepfully tomorrow night!
One thing I can say is that age old problem of being in a private lobby and getting phone calls to do business things is back as I got a call to say out of toner supplies last night while in invite only and in order to restock you need to be in public lobby for the laptop to work, good going R*!

I started up my methamphetamine business last night though I'm very confused as to how to progress with it. I decided to pick the methamphetamine one as it was very close to my clubhouse which is in the Blaine County area (route 68 maybe). Anyway my business is housed in what looks like a big red derelict barn but after delivering a batch of supplies to the location in a lorry I couldn't seem to make anything else happen. I think I need staff before production can begin but there doesn't seem to be an option to hire any. From my interaction menu I can invite other human players to join the business but I assume that is just for helping to gather product not actually working in the barn itself which presumably is a task that falls to npc's. As I say though I can't find the option to hire any. There was a staff upgrade on the computer which enables you to employ more staff to speed up production but that probably won't do anything if you don't have any initial staff. Well I didn't want to risk spending the $300k plus on the off chance it might trigger something anyway.

You have to wait for LJT sending you a message to say the staff have arrived and production has begun, the age old game of waiting for the event to progress. Can't remember how long I had to wait but I will be doing another business setup later tonight so I'll keep an eye.

The Club business appears very promising & I'm looking forward to partake in it... It appears to be cheaper to set up than CEO work. Hopefully that doesn't mean it ain't profitable.... Time for some extensive research. How many (different) businesses can you own? Long John Teabag (lol) says "Only one business of each type can be owned" The weed operation sounds very promising, but seeing the Smoke On The Water van brings annoying memories... I really hated their missions in story mode.

I have had a variant of this resupply mission twice now, where you have to jack a Police Bike, which is relatively rare in free-mode:
I discovered you can't actually rob the store to get a wanted level in this mission, although you can get the small amount of cash out of the second register.

I've done some research & came up with some preliminary findings … it will take some time for us to get the hang of this & come up with concrete data. I also can't verify all of this personally, so feel free to take it as a hearsay.
• You can only own up to 5 businesses, one of each at a time.
• If you trade a business, you'll lose all upgrades to the facility.
• The trade in value is the standard 50%.
• You are only paying for the Location. Capacity & Profit are the same. Businesses in Los Santos will literally cost up to twice as much as the ones in Blaine County & Paleto Bay. (i.e. Cocaine lockup in Alamo Sea is $975,000 while the one in Morningwood is $1,852,000)
• Each business cost $4,500 per game day in labor\bills to keep running.
• Business\facility upgrades are more cosmetic than functional. The equipment & staff upgrades while they offer slight improvements, they are not in proportion with their prices. And the security upgrade will not stop the Police from raiding your businesses, confiscating your product, arresting your staff & you … if you fail to stop em.
• The Cocaine lock up is the most profitable business … about $400k-$500k when full. While the Document Forgery is the least profitable … about $92k when full.
• The Counterfited Cash is the most self-sufficient one, doesn't require lots of supplies to keep it running.
• You can either buy or steal supplies for your businesses. If you steal it, you deliver it. If you buy it, it will cost you $15,000 per run & might take up to 10 real life minutes.
• If you shut down a business, you will lose stocked products, but not supplies.
• when it comes to selling products, you can choose to either sell it in your area … or the other side of San Andreas for 50% more cash.
• Unlike CEO sales, you get paid for the products you delivered, not just the whole shipment.
• Sale vehicles are randomized like CEO sales, they could be:
1) 4 Bagger bikes. 2) 3 Trashmaster trucks. 3) 3 UPS trucks. 4) 3 Digny boats. 5) 1 Dodo.
• You can switch sessions halfway through sales, just like CEO work & the penalty is a small loss in product.
• You can become a CEO & do CEO\VIP work & your businesses will still operate & prepare product as long as you don't leave the session.
• For maximum profitably, Its best to have a business running while you do CEO work …. That way you make money from both jobs.

So far, I only have the Forgery business going. I don't have any of the upgrades yet, but it seems to me to be a lot of work for little money so far -- if I am not doing constant resupply missions, paying for resupply seems to cost more than what is made by selling product, even cross county. Also, if I don't have a gang going, I have to sell product when it builds up about a third to avoid sell product missions that require more than one vehicle. I'll probably shut the business down when I get another one that is more profitable, but I'd like to know if you still have to pay property tax while it is shut down.

One of the sale deliveries involves driving a Benson or a Rat truck with a hippie passenger who lights one up halfway through & get you stoned while driving lol. #StonerBashingTime So far, I only have the Forgery business going. Yea, Its a very long term investment. Makes CEO work pale in comparison. The concept of the forgery business is kinda cool though & R* went the extra mile detailing all operations on this dlc. My hat is off for them. #QualityUpdate. I can't get an answer on that one, there has been conflicting reports. Also, apparently the expenses\bills\taxes vary across businesses.

Hi guys, I've made a hi-res map showing the clubs & businesses. (note, Its 2000x3000 & 10.7mb large) Club MapAs for my bulletin above ^^, there's no concrete evidence to confirm or deny these reports yet... EDIT: Its been brought to my attention that there's a mix up in the map. The Meth & Counterfeit businesses are mixed up in both Terminal & Grapeseed. I'll update the map when I get a chance.

Bertha gets her Meth Lab up and running (she'll be by often for product testing):
I believe this is the first time I've seen an MTL Pounder used in gameplay.
She is quite vengeful: She found the player that tried to blow up her truck after she delivered it, waiting for him to come out of an LSC and blew 'im up with a compact grenade launcher as he came out, just so it's understood what happens with you mess with the Alamo chapter of the Kush Motorcycle Club.

Here's a product delivery mission done solo using a Dinghy. I've done this scenario a few times now.
