Thanks for the posts, always good to get some background, my biggest problem right now though is the constant calls when I am in a private lobby and unable to do the business missions (because access to Open Road requires a public lobby) this deters me from buying them for my characters. Given it could be some time before Rockstar address this these calls can become annoying as they are frequent and occur each time you load into a free roam session. Ya, most annoying was getting a call about toner being low at the Forgery Document Office, while I'm trying to dodge traffic during the week's time trial. I really can't understand why Rockstar allowed this, I mean I am sure they got a load of complaints about the assistant which is why her calls were stopped but then they reactivate the prbolem an update later, did they really think we as players would tolerate the constant calls, R* should know we complain about everything by now and I mean this in a good way in this instance.

It wouldn't be so bad if it were like Lester, who only calls you about heists when you enter the session. Although, I have noticed that Lester seems to be calling more about his "Locate a Car" service, and for the life of me, I have not found a use for this.
BTW, be careful about owning multiple businesses because of the daily cost assocated with them. It's pretty overwelming to keep more than one business running, and if Biker Clubs are not your thing, you're going to be stuck with the high costs. I was hoping that shutting one of my businesses down would reduce the cost, but I was charged $9K for my Meth Lab and DFO.

I will keep that in mind, I have read already about the high costs of businesses hence why I am reluctant to "invest" as LJT keeps suggesting. I only have Tails running one businesses just now but it's had very little happen to it due to Elder Scrolls Online keeping me occupied.

So I decided to sit this one out ... No club or Businesses for me. The more I research it, the more I'm convinced with my decision.
My initial plan was to use the businesses to augment my CEO work as a side grind & own more properties in Elysian Island, but the whole business thing turned to be a full time grind & not as profitable.
I read somewhere that you need 51 real time hours with perfect deliveries to break even with the cheapest but fully upgraded Cocaine lockup (61 if not upgraded) ... Cocaine business is the most profitable -___-
Also, there's is the hefty upkeep fees! $30k is a LOT of money to pay every 48 minutes!!! While $30k is not much, it does add up ... I already pay enough for my properties as is.
Plus, from what I heard ... I rather avoid the constant nagging from Long John Teabag.
TL;DR: Fuck that, but good luck to everyone who is invested in this. #NoBusinessForMe

TL;DR: Fuck that, but good luck to everyone who is invested in this. #NoBusinessForMe I think it has a lot of gameplay value, but it's not a way got get rich quick (the only way to get rich quick is to cheat GTA$, but it kinda defeat the whole point of the game). A plain Orion yacht, if bought a half price for $3mil, takes 100 successful plays of Piracy Prevention to pay for itself, or 16-17 hours. At full price, that is gonna be 32 or more, and even more for the more expensive yachts and expensive upgrades. But it's kinda cool to own a yacht to have something to show for your "work" in the game. Really, it just the rate of making money with club business is low if you mostly play by yourself, but payouts increase dramatically when have members in your club and you do all the new MC stuff. Resupplies and deliveries take much less time. I think I made nearly 3/4 of million with Bertha with two businesses playing with, at one point, a gang of 5 over the period of 3-4 hours. It just depends if you can get friends together to do it. I think it's a good turn for the game, the anti-social lone wolf kill everybody because I just wanna be a psycho aren't gonna have as much fun when more players start playing together as gangs to take them out. BTW, the Vice President of a motorcycle has the ability to mark a player in the session with a target icon that is seen by the rest of the club while the target is on radar. Very useful for the whole club ganging up on one of the psychoidiots.

You always make valid points, D. I agree it offers more gameplay value, but its geared mostly towards team play & groups to get the most of it ... I'm more of a lone wolf type & I'm not into the motorcycle\MC life style. Regarding the Businesses, I was looking forward to it in the beginning ... Although I wasn't expecting CEO-level profits, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be this low either ... Anyway, I was somewhat willing to bite the bullet & swallow the overhead costs\bills just to own properties in Elysion island & Vespucci beach to re-live the glory days of Vice City with owning Coke & Counterfeit cash businesses. But I can't stomach the constant nagging from Long John Teabag ... I just can't. I also worry that the constant supply missions will make me regret buying a business... Just like Smoke on the water in story mode. I regret buying it, the dude is annoying as fuck & always calls in the most inconvenient time. As for the Yachts, They are leisure properties you reward yourself with & have something to show for your work in the game ... Plus, you get a Luxury Helicopter & a bunch of boats with it! Just like the Versatti mansion

Twice now I've tried it, and even though the on-screen notifications state that you get $ and RP for destroying Biker Business product, you get no such game reward. Hopefully this will get fixed?

Hmm, typical problem of the game currently but those LJT calls are getting annoying, he seems to call every few minutes or maybe it was just because I kept loading into new lobbies with my *ahem* Ill-Gotten Gains from the creator over the weekend.

... my *ahem* Ill-Gotten Gains from the creator over the weekend. Ooohh do tell There was a glitch came out at the wekeend which allowed the storing of ANY car from the creator. Providiing you had an instant win race, a friend, a cargobob and not get killed in a public lobby you could store the car via LSC after joining a public lobby, it was a little tiresome/repetitive but basically it allowed me to obtain my favourite coloured cars with "worn" and "utility" paint textures that would not normally be obtainable. Too many cars to mention and it's way off topic but you will all see them when I upload my personal garage videos to my character profiles during the remainder of the week. Back on topic LJT was certainly very annoying last night as he kept calling me every few minutes, he's as much of a troll as random lobbies now.

Glad you caught em all Yea, LJT is the reason I'm saying away from the clubs\businesses. He is worse than Roman.
