So what I am thinking is that "Bullet and Explosive ammo added" is that they are suppose adding ammo to your inventory when you destroy special cargo. I just did one, using a 'nade launcher on a stopped truck where the driver had gotten out and was engaged in battle with another player (dumb, dumb, dumb). I went to check afterwards, and the 'nade launcher was still 3 rounds short of full, the number that I used on the truck. It would make sense that your were rewarded with ammo on success, because those three 'nades at current discounts cost me nearly $600, while I was paid $2000 for destroying the truck. Still investigating...

Still investigating... The way I see it ... Short of an assault vehicle with its own weapons, you'll be lucky to break even & you will lose money if you went against a vehicle with an upgraded armor. I hear an uparmored Brickade takes 5 rockets to blow it up. Unless you use a Grenade Launcher & got 100% accuracy, you'll lose money ... In case of the Homing Launcher, you are looking at $7,500 minimum in ammunition alone. Financially speaking, It ain't worth the ammunition & effort.

4. Rare Hide: Purchase Value: $21,000. Sale Value: $105,000. I got this one today. It's not directly stated in the dialog with the assistant, they just imply that it is rarer than an endangered animal hide, but from the appearance of the crate in the warehouse, it looks like a Bigfoot hide. Gonna hold onto it to see what two special items are worth.

Let us know how it goes.

Here's a vid of a special cargo pickup (nothing special) where you have to track down a thief on foot to get the cargo. In two and three crate pickups, you have two or three thieves to track down.
What I found unusual is that when you pickup a crate and not a vehicle, I'm not sure if it can be destroyed by a rival player. I was once blown up in my heli, but it didn't destroy the cargo, and I was able to pick it back up and take it to the warehouse after I respawned. Likewise, I once found rival player's cargo crates just waiting at this location, but I couldn't destroy them. Perhaps a bug?

I finally got the astronaut assassination mission that you see in the trailer on a Special Cargo pickup:

So, the only way so far that I've found to switch the cargo pickup type is to retire then renew the CEO contract (also happens on a game reload). It's a bit inconvenient if you have associates working for you, so if someone finds a better way, let me know.
What I'll probably do with my hippie chick character (who values animal life more than human life) is to buy just one crate when Animal Materials comes up, and destroy it rather than storing it. She can take the $2K loss for her hippie-dippy principles.

So some tips/techniques for doing a couple of delivery scenarios solo:
The most problematic, for me at least, is making the air drops solo where there are enemy NPC helicopters at each drop spot. Probably the best thing to do is fly the Cuban 800 to the Sandy Shores Airfield (less chance of a rival player taking it out while it sits), spawning a buzzard then taking out the enemy helicopters. Not sure if using the warehouse workbench armor upgrade for the planes makes this unnecessary. The helicopters don't spawn until the drop spots spawn, and they don't spawn until you get in the plane and the cargo becomes visible on radar.
Merryweather backup is very useful on doing Tug deliveries solo. I was able to make a Tug delivery, and the Merryweather backup took out two pairs of Seasharks and kept the helicopter busy enough such that I never had to stop on the way to the drop.

I have a couple questions (I apologize if they sound naive\selly, but I haven't played the dlc yet): 1) Can't you fly at maximum altitude & drop the cargo from there? 2) Is the Merryweather backup helicopter too slow & can't keep up with the Cuban\Titan to provide backup & distract the npc helicopters?

I haven't tried either suggestion yet. It should be possible to make the drop from high -- the way the game mechanic works is the right on the D-pad when you are over the drop zone, and it is only active then. It's not the like the Trevor story mode arms smuggling side missions where you can miss.

So you just retire from CEO status & reenlist immediately? Yep, no cooldown. You can take turns with friends getting your warehouses stocked and/or delivered. I'm really not finding any advantage to being a VIP over a CEO. There is one game mechanic that will prevent you from being CEO/Associate though, with a cooldown. If a delivery is attempted, and the cargo gets destroyed - the CEO can fire an associate with a ban on CEO/Associate work for a cooldown period. I haven's seen it used, so I don't know how long the ban is in effect. Kind of clever, since you can punish the asshole troll that let your cargo get destroyed on purpose.

When you have no associates with you on a Tug delivery: Man, that tug is slow as &%$#! I watched the video at 2x speed & it is still slow lol! Love the new dynamic score playing in the background ... Got a Michael Mann vibe to it. Excellent work D!
