So I've seen quite a few creations that use trapped Technicals to create a machine gun turret. It would probably be useful to just create a turret prop (that can be destroyed). However, I can see how it would be used for evil in those horrible, cruel trap maps.

After playing a lot of captures this week, I think the Capture-Hold mode is bugged. It seems there are slightly rare situations where the objective count on the screen will not be what it should be, or the HUD count will be different from the count on the results screen.

There is pretty much everything wrong with holds that can be wrong. Examples: Two objectives, one definetely unobtainable. Score is suddenly 1:1. Two scores to win, one objective gets delivered -> instant win. Objectives is delivered, suddenly it gets registered as not delivered -> Score back to 0.
What also seems to be broken recently is the locked time on deathmatches. It starts at the set time, but instead of being stuck at it, the clock is ticking. To be fair, this is pretty cool for deathmatches set at nighttime, since "night" is actually 9 pm and it's not really dark then. For DMs set to morning it is rather annoying.
Trap maps can be done without static machineguns. They would solve a lot of problems. See what I've done with the Private Ryan job. I need to have actors in a helicopter and place a prop in a certain way into the rotor to get the effect I want. It looks ridiculous and it still doesn't come nowhere close to my favorite MP maps ever, Beach in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Enemy Territory. Blocking the Technicals is also a waste of precious props, so yeah, +1 for the machine gun prop.
I'm actually happy with bugfixes. And I really, really hope the stunt race props will be available for other creator modes. R* should have expected from the beginning that people will turn this game into Mindcraft, with astonishing results. The modding community (not modding in terms of cheating) did amazing things since GTA 3. Giving us the creator is great, but the selection of props just seems to be random and the amount by far not enough. Not to mention that you have to use glitches all the time to bypass annoying restrictions.
They already improved it a lot and I appreciate that. But the wishlist is long, very long. So is the buglist.

Ok, this pisses me off because I have so many of them: Apparently, locked land races are broken right now (Cunning Stunts update). All of your custom vehicles will be enabled, even though there is no option to enable/disable custom vehicles in the lobby screen. This is true of user created races as well as Rockstar's own races like "Mud, Sweat and Gears". My post on the Rockstar support community (please upvote)

Prop placement is broken, prop roation is broken, fucking entire creator is broken. People can't place anything properly now. I email them everyday, telling them that even their precious st(upid) (c)unt race creator will be broken by it's release, we'll see.

Yup, latest update completely screwed the creator props, props floating in the air, props rotating themselves back to normal state and templates doing the same.

So out of interest does this mean all the races people have created with silly wacky stunt jumps/loops etc are all not playable just now? I'm curious because I was trying to do a last team standing last night but couldn't find a single match of Rockets v Insurgents...

Apparently, you can no longer select the radio station for the lobby in Race Details for races. It's still under ambient settings for LTS and Captures, and in Deathmatch Details for DMs.

So these are the workarounds I've been using to get around the locked races bug until they fix it: Add an open class to your race. When you host the race, switch to that class, turn custom vehicles off, then switch to the intended class with the locked vehicle. In a playlist of locked races, all but the first will appear with an option to turn custom vehicles off.

Well that was a most frustrating experience! I have just spent an intense couple of hours trying to redo the pipe section of U-turns at Paleto Sea and just as I am testing it the game suddenly quits the creator and starts joining GTA Online! Does that happen often, I don't think I pressed anything to join online and I certainly was not in the pause menu. Oh well I guess I have to retry the repairs over the weekend but pressure is starting to build as Monday's entry date looms closer. Ya, I've run into that a few times. Also props that never stop spinninng, and the cursor being moved way far away from your creator. I'll give 'em a pass for being the first release, but they damn well better have most of this fixed in the next DLC release.

While you wait for the fixes here is my current solution to both :
I have also lost work with various bugs, being loaded into online like Tails, or even the game loading an earlier version of the race I am working on, the only solution here is regular save or publishes, if you have just done building an intricate piece of propping I would advise to save or publish immediately after.
If you get spinning props switch your props over to tubes (any tube works) and put prop snapping on, snap 2 bits together and the spinning stops, you can then delete the 2 props.
