I'll be making some edits to this shortly but as DGM is not available at present I'm making the new topic for this new adversary mode.
Resurrection:
Nothing says ‘team building exercise’ like bringing your buddy back into the game by shooting some opposing chump in the back of the head. But that means there’s only one way to get ahead in the new Resurrection Adversary Mode: until you’ve wiped them out, they can always come back.
Compete in this new mode in 7 distinct locations including the Aircraft Carrier, Ron Alternates Wind Farm and Elysian Island - with 2 teams and 4-8 total players, where the objective is to eliminate the entire opposing force, and where every enemy you kill revives a fallen member of your squad (in the order in which they were killed).
And as an added bonus, all players will receive Double GTA$ & RP in this new mode starting today.

Well my first experience of this new adversary mode did not go very well and resulted in me feeling quite embarrassed/upset at the end of it all.
The mode itself is very good and is a game of strategy as you work as a team against your opposing team and for each kill you make on the opposition if one of your team has fallen you resurrect them and they continue the match with each kill bringing a player back to life on your team.
Default settings appear to be a ten minute match and you have to get a score of 30 kills (this was set as I wasn't host so I'll update opening with this in due course)
My match took place in the Railyard Survival area, lots of cover and places to get a good vantage point, unfortunately for me there was one player who began to spoil the match as he was imply using the corner shoot/forward roll at every opportunity and even though I know I was head shooting him he went 27 kills up on me and was simply better than everyone else in the match he had a cheeky user name that I shall likely not forget.
I think LAG must have been a factor though so I will try and get some video footage to share before end of the evening hopefully it will go better!
The strategy would appear to be either go for the run n gun team attack or wait in cover for the enemy to make their appearance and then take them out while separated from the pack.
Interested to read if anyone else attempts this mode and I'll add some more details to the opening shortly.

I gave this a go last night and it seems like it will be a pretty good addition to the stable of adversary modes. I was able to host it myself luckily so was able to trim it down to first to win two rounds wins the match as I can see it being a bit long winded if set to four which I assume is the default. I enjoyed it but didn't do too well so I'd hope to do better in future. Well I finished with 12 kills and 9 deaths so not bad by any means but I failed to maintain my K/D ratio so I'll need to do better next time. I was in there with some good players which made it difficult plus I was initially in the dark about everyone not being on the radar at all times like you are for some other modes like Collection Time for example so people were able to sneak up on me a few times before I realised the radar in this mode perhaps works more like a deathmatch. Plus I made the mistake initially of trying to go for the rifle pick up as I would with Collection Time and that resulted in a couple of embarrassing deaths early on. Still it seems like quite an enjoyable mode and the top down view that you see while waiting to be resurrected is something I've not seen before.
By the way Tails where is DGM seeing that you mention him? Haven't seen him in a dogs age?

By the way Tails where is DGM seeing that you mention him? Haven't seen him in a dogs age? Thanks for your feedback, I had a feeling you'd respond. Yes it seems the radar in Resurrection operates like a deathmatch, I haven't been able to get online since I had my first round on Tuesday as have had some problems getting into online which I need to get sorted later today hopefully as I wanted to test and see if you can reveal players etc as you would do in a deathmatch or what other perks might be available. You sound like you had a good game but like you I also made the mistake of not keeping an eye on the radar and a lot of my deaths were from being snuck up on and I do like that top down view of the map. I suspect that if yu were organised in a party chat team you could probably direct your teammates to where the enemy are and that might change the odds in your favour perhaps? Communication/team work appears to be a key part of the match. As for DGM the last I heard from IceDree was that's he having to deal with some family issues but that was some time ago and I haven't seen him online at all, hopefully he comes back soon as I suspect he has a lot of forum posts to catch up on reading!

Yes hopefully he returns soon.
I haven't had a chance to play this mode since the other night either but I wouldn't imagine you would be able to call Lester but I'm not totally sure. A party chat could help a lot yes if you were on the same team. The idea reminds me of something I read ages ago on the other forum where a girl said that she used to spectate deathmatches that her friends were involved in and then be in a party chat with them at the same time so she could inform them on the movements of their opponents.
