I haven't played it yet, but it looks like a vehicle version of "Power Play".

I haven't played it yet, but it looks like a vehicle version of "Power Play". It is and it seems quite difficult. I have been on the loosing team for most of my attempts and died a lot in the process. I don't think this mode works to be honest, it's trying to combine Deadline with Power Play using cars and it just seems to rest on the power ups, I did try to use them to kill other players but I did not have much success. Not much video of this so far but when I finish gaming tonight I will get the machine uploading what I have. Thanks for updating opening.

I don't think I'll be trying this one. With one or two exceptions I generally don't enjoy the vehicle based adversary modes very much and I hated Power Play due to the power ups so if this is similar then it wouldn't be for me at all.

Here are my two videos of the new adversary mode, this one is beginning to grow on me but I doubt it will last beyond the current event.

I think this one is really gimmicky like power play (It would have been really over the top with the narrator voice from Power Play), but I'm sure it is a favorite amongst the ADHD-addled gamer types who can pick up the gimmicky powerups quickly and not have to think too deeply about the game mode.
But, unfortunately there seems to be a lot of hate towards the AMs that take some thought to play and a deeper understanding of the game mechanics -- as if many players can't stand to play a game or a match or a race that they can't win on the first try.

I actually would have liked it if the quirky voice or at least quirky music had been used for this mode. I do agree though that sadly most adversary modes are disliked due to the lack of thought and understanding to the game mechanics and certainly most players won't come back if they can't win straight away however I have to say looking back over my videos for 2016 I played a lot more adversary modes than I thought so I need to try and complete some of the missing ones this year.

Well I've played a few round of this during the current event and it's not really that much fun.
It was amusing the first play throughs because when the car warps into a tank or turns into the Shotaro bike it's a funny surprise moment when you then waste the other players however now that people have their strategies if you are still a newbie to the mode you won't really get much enjoyment from it.
Most of the time I've noticed players tend to just look at the map and see where the powerful powerups are spawning (Tank/Shotaro etc) and then the just grab it as you approach and bam that's another death but it seems they made the cars too fragile in this mode, now I know most cars wouldn't last long when being shot at by machine guns but the Entity XF I've been using I noticed the health bar goes down just too quickly from the machine guns and the maps don't really offer much skill to dodge players using the car machine gun.
It also does not help that the balance of the match can be thrown completely if one team has five players against you because everyone else quit, one improvement they really need to make to game modes is rebalance the teams if someone leaves part way through a round.

Yes I'd like to see a change implemented to adversary modes where the teams are re-balanced at the start of the next round if they are uneven due to players quitting.
