It's a clash of the titans in Juggernaut, the latest adrenaline-fueled Adversary Mode to hit GTA Online. In this brutal war between two opposing teams, the Juggernaut is your greatest asset and your only liability. As an Attacker, you'll need to flank, swarm and successfully execute the opposing team's heavily-reinforced Juggernaut - while protecting your own - to take the win. If your team is unable to wipe out the opposition's Juggernaut in time, Sudden Death rules go into effect and everyone becomes a Juggernaut. First kill wins though, so you'll want to be aggressive in trying to take first blood.

I haven't seen an announcement yet, but this one appeared with the snow.
One of the team is a heavily armed and armored Juggernaut with a minigun. The other team members have assault rifles, pump shotguns, one grenade, a micro-smg and a pistol.
The goal is to kill the other team's Juggernaut to win the round.
If you are playing to win, and not just playing to kill, you'll need to concentrate fire on the opposing juggernaut, ideally from different sides.

Here's a round of Juggernaut that I played and ended up winning the round for my team by shooting the enemy Juggernaut in the face.
It seems the rounds tend to be very short.

I had a go at this earlier and did pretty well. My team managed to win as well. The recent adversary modes that have been added over the last few months haven't been for me but this one from the little I've experienced so far is more up my street so I'll probably be sinking my teeth in to it a bit more over the coming days. It reminds me of Entourage a bit.

Well I have to say another piece of brilliant gameplay by Rockstar. I've finally got the chance to play this on Monday/Tuesday and it was nothing like what I expected in my head.
The term Juggernaut made me think of the Phantom Wedge truck against individual players odds stacked hugely on the truck driver and skill.
Instead I was pleasantly surprised to see it was two heavily armed knights with support players to defend the knight.
I was the Juggernaut on my games and although I lost the first match I quickly got to grips with staying hidden from the other Juggernaut and letting rip with the minigun and watching the attackers fall to the hail of bullets. I noticed most attackers try to get you with Sticky Bombs from afar so it was quite sweet to blow a few of them up mid sticky bomb throw.
Rockstar have really made some nice sub games with these most recent adversary modes and at least players seem to be getting used to them and playing tactically.

I've been playing this mode quite a lot since my last post and have very much enjoyed it. I think I prefer being an attacker as this suits my playstyle better but it is fun getting kill after kill with the minigun if you get cast as the juggernaut. I feel a bit of pressure as the juggernaut to be the one to lead the attack and take the fight to the enemy juggernaut. I feel like the onus is on me more to be the leading man if you like where naturally I'm more of a cautious defensive style player but either way as juggernaut or attacker it is very fun and definitely among my favourite adversary modes.
