Info nicked "shamelessly" from GTA Forums!
FundePanda just confirmed:
Stunt Tracks and Props are now available in (Deathmatch, Capture, LTS) Creator.

Verified by the newswire post...
It will be interesting to see what kind of creations will result. Although I don't like them, I suppose those floating deathmatch platforms will be done more easily.

I've been thinking about this, and I'm wondering how well the respawns will work for captures when the play area is on a floating platform.
I've got a simple capture hold which I placed at the sports field at the USLA, and I'm thinking of doing a version of it using the stunt props. Basically, players have a melee weapon, and the capture objects are placed in the center of the field. Players have to run them into their goal areas.
The problem with testing captures is that your character is invulnerable in test mode, there's no way to test respawns without playing in game mode.

Here is a play through of my first Capture Hold using stunt props: I'm sure it needs a lot more testing, but the few respawns worked ok (they are at your home goal areas); However, the only issue is that the goal marker is not visible on top of the raised stunt track. In this match, it should be semi-obvious where the goal area is though. Here's the link (PS4) Hold:Bags and Bats

Well I am thinking I might try making some Captures and LTS with the new props myself but it will probably be a little while before I complete them as got to think out my ideas.
Thinking of some aerial LTS but not the normal style Rocket V Insurgent nonsense but also ensure the players simply can't pop each other with normal weapons.

Me and others have the props for over a month now, which is what made this update finally happen. There are plenty of awesome creations made, no "floating deathmatch" though, lol. Stunt props in the combat creator are not a big deal anymore, everyone who wanted them had them already. The 150 prop limit and advanced options are wayyyyyyy more exciting.
Btw: Fun is and remains an absolute moron. He knows next to nothing about this game because the last time he played it was in 2013.

Fix a problem by making it available to everyone. I must admit I never checked if I had access to the props before now as I am not that much of a creator but we shall see how my new ideas come out.
