Lost vs Damned "The new Lost Vs Damned mode plays out the oft-told story of the righteous versus the vulgar, this time pitting Angels against Devils in the ultimate battle of the soul. Each match will flip between day and night for 60 seconds at a clip, with advantages including regenerated Armor and Health and improved Weapon options depending on the time – day for the Angels and night for the Devils. Points are awarded for kills during the time your team is powerful, so seizing these opportunities are truly the difference between life and death."

Will be interesting to see what comes of this adversary mode, I doubt it will be the success that Slasher was but switching from day to night aspect of the mode sounds interesting but I have a feeling the persk will be OP and no doubt the glitchers/trolls will camp them to ensure victory.
Worth checking out though and I will give it a proper review on Friday.

I don't think the perks will be pickups that you can camp near to but rather each team will just get different weapons when it switches from day to night.

I played this at the wee hours of the morning with some friends.
The game mechanics: When it is your team's time, there are a wide array of weapons available on your weapon wheel. Every kill that your team gets increases your team's score. When it is not your team's time, you are armed with a single melee weapon. They seem to be different for each team member. Every kill that your team makes will decrease the other team's score. The match continues until the time expires or one team reaches the target score. There are no pickups at all. Health does not seem to regenerate. Opponents appear on and off the radar like a deathmatch, so stealth mode helps. The controller will also rumble if you are near an opponent.
There may be more to the game mechanics, but that's all I've observed so far. There must be a way to regenerate health like being near your teammates?
It reminds me of Slasher in a way, however the melee weapons and attacks are more effective and it's a lot easier to get the jump on your opponents.

I'll give this a try later but I don't know think I'll enjoy it very much after reading more about it here and on the other forum. I'm really bad with melee weapons and dislike using them so I'm not going to like only having one of those at my disposal for large parts of the match.

Well, these Green Eggs and Ham are on 2xRP and 2xGTA$ for the week or more, for all the Sam I Ams.

I wonder how this one is gonna go over with the free-aimers. The biggest flaw with that mode is that unless you are a highly skilled free-aim shooter, running up and melee attacking an opponent is a winning strategy, so much so, that free-aimers don't melee attack each other by gentleman's agreement. This AM goes against that agreement. I could be mistaken, but it feels like the melee attacks were buffed for the wrong time team and counter-melee attacks with guns were nerfed for this mode.
Suggested strategy for right-time team is to use the assault shotgun, to lay down those fools that want to charge at you with a battleaxe.

I've heard of it but don't know anything about this Dr. Suess fellow. About the Lost and Damned game I had a go last night but I think it will be my first and last time as I was left with no desire at all to repeat the experience. Without doubt this will be one to avoid in the future for me.

I've never heard of Dr Seuss either I must confess so I guess can't be that popular here in the UK.
Hoping I will get a chance to play this over the weekend so shall see what I think then.

So it is long time since I posted I would look at this adversary mode but I finally played a match of Lost vs Damned this morning before work.
I have to say this was an enjoyable challenge, the match ended up being 1 v 1 but I liked the format, it worked surprisingly well, 60 seconds of daylight and 60 seconds of night time, it really brought a nice mood to the gameplay and really outlined the need for tactics straight away.
When you are the devils (me!) you have to bide your time until darkness dawns as then you get access to the weapon wheel (you have only a knife in daylight) so you must plan your attack or hide until it's your turn.
This works surprisngly well although I wasn't very good at hiding from the enemy during daylight hours but the final score ended up 6-8 before the other player quit so I guess I actually won the match technically but it was good challenge and because it is a small area of the map (the Lost camp map) you can pretty much track with the camera where your enemy might come from and at several points I was able to stay behind them out of sight.
I think I need to reactvate the adversary series job circle on the map and have some more random games of modes I've not yet played.
