I don't know if it's worthy of a topic and I am creating it while I remember but I noticed one improvement I do like in the creator though not all of you may agree.
One of things I have disliked about racing is the fact that it was down to the host of the job to decide if Catch Up etc should be enabled/switched off.
Thus meaning of course that those behind in the race have a chance to catch up and we all know that ends up leading to much of the pitting/crashing style driving we have all experienced.
All of that changed for me yesterday when I discovered we now have the option in our races to disable the race catch up system!
It is at the very bottom of the race details menu and basically allows you to determine if catch up is on/off and also I see you can now specify if the nitro boost on bikes is enabled or not during races as well as using the stunt camera.
So it is rare but I would like to thank Rockstar for doing this as now it means that when I play my races I no longer have to worry about the catch up system as I have now turned it off by default, I don't think they mentioned this anywhere that I have found or am I just behind in seeing the actual changes the stunt race creator brought us?

Yep, I've been disabling catchup in a lot of races. I don't hate catchup, I think it is a equalizer in races where you play against lower skilled player that still drunk drive - sort of like Power Player in a death match (where you start taking double damage and give out half damage when you get too far ahead). The intent is to make the competition more competive, but it races it can be really annoying, especially when you really get to know the limitations of the vehicle you are driving, and the performance changes depending on how far behind your competiors are. I'm not sure why they had to make turbo speed boosts an option, it only effects the Vindicator and the Lectro, and those two are not really effective against the top of the motorcycle class. When enabled, you can do the tighter turns with a brake and boost method, rather than trying to do the turns by conserving as much momentum as possible. Here's an example brake-n-boost in my Vindicator personal time trial: (there is another one around 4:17 in the video) It really doesn't offer that much of an advantage, but every little bit helps, and these bikes are expensive...

Why they added catch up as an option and not catch up and slip stream is beyond me, but yes a welcome update for racers

Probably because Slipstreaming has unlocks required for low levels so did not want to make it harder to achieve the required number of slipstreams.
