Canis Kalahari, Off-Road(2 occupants) "Is it a truck? Is it a golf cart? Is it a bathtub on wheels? It's whatever you want it to be. The Kalahari is a super-lightweight off-road utility vehicle used by the French army, which possibly explains why they're always so late to everything."
―Southern San Andreas Super Autos description. $40,000 for hardtop, $51,000 for topless from Southern San Andreas Super Autos. Topless version rarely spawns in free mode on North Chumash beach, cannot be stored. Available for races and matches in content creator. Hardtop version added as part of the Beach Bum update. Topless variant added as part of the Last Team Standing update. [ GTA Wiki] darkgreenmeme's personal time trial challenge record: 6:44.200 88.09 mph - darkgreenmeme

This spawn surprised me, a pre-modded topless Kalahari on North Chumash Beach in free mode, which I have never seen in the ridiculous amount of time I've spent playing GTA online:
It can't be saved, it is too hot to modify.
I'm wondering if this spawn has been here since the Last Team Standing update?

Hello, I was wondering if I should get one. It's a bit of an odd-ball, it's relatively slow. The Bifta and the Dune Buggy are probably more fun to drive on the beach because they are faster, but driving a Kalahari will be a bit more unique, since not many players have it or use it.

Okay, good to know, I like using cars that not many other people drive, because I love it when I have to explain to other kiddies why its not a super car.

It would seem I missed your post, I did videos for these back when they were driveable and I believe that was around April 2015 so that would be before Ill Gotten Gains Part 1. I think they have been present since launch on PS4 like all the other NPC Vehicles, I will post links to my videos a bit later on. UPDATE: According to my Youtbe stars I uploaded these one year ago on December 2015 but that's not really an accurate estimate since I am sure I recorded them much earlier.

The reason I say that is because the topless Kalahari was added for the LTS update, so it can't be an original spawn. Too bad they don't still do this level of detail with other newer DLC vehicles.

That is correct, however I seem to remember there was always a topless version available but it was a random spawn from the car website and sometimes you got the topless and sometimes hardtop, perhaps IceCree can confirm or deny, I'll look back trough my garage videos as well.
