So I've been battling the most annoying bug in GTA Online.
It seems that are a few of my cars that have crew logos, and even though I remove them during a session, they will return when the game is reloaded.
I've tried many, many, different things, including the semi-drastic method of removing GTAV save data from the PS4 and restarting the game (you'll have to play the first two story-mode missions before playing GTA Online) to no avail.
They said they fixed this in the 1.33 release notes, but they lied. I'm guessing there's some really ugly code behind it, because it seems that a garage slot can tag a car has having a crew logo, and if you sell that car then put another in its place, that car will have a crew logo. Apparently they did this to fix a problem where crew logos disappeared from cars. I don't see why they just don't store it in the data where your vehicles attributes are kept, like the paint color - but that might make too much sense.
I'm hoping that it actually gets fixed by next update, but if anyone has a workaround, I'd like to hear about it.

I have this problem on a few cars as well. Usually I just end up selling the vehicle as nothing seems to work in terms of removing it. I think I've only ever had a logo disappear for good once but every other time the damn thing has come back. The worst situation with it is on my Elegy as seeing that I got that for free I can't sell it. Recently I've even had the crew logo showing up on cars that I didn't even put it on in the first place which is even more annoying.

There is actually an expensive work-around to remove the crew emblem from the garage slot. Replace your car with a Surfer or any other car that doesn't allow you to put a crew emblem on. Then buy the original car again and replace your Surfer. Haven't done this though. I wait for a working fix in 1.39.

The trick of buying a Surfer certainly removes the emblem on the BF Surfer, unfortunately it returns straight away on the next car you purchase or put in the garage to replace the Surfer.
I have done lots of different things to try to fix this, let's hope the next update does fix it as I have 11 slots affected by this so have one full garage of BF Surfer's right now just so I don't have to look at the emblem bug.

If you trade in that garage, does it have any effect on the slots?

Sadly, the 1.34 update did not fix this. Release notes are not out yet, so I wonder if they will lie and say that they did.
Removed a crew logo from a car at a mod shop, moved it to another garage, went to story mode, closed the game and reloaded. It came back.

Twas to be expected, particularly annoying for me as I have one garage with 10 slots that I cannot use because of this problem just now. Ah well, means I don't have to spend money on expensive new cars for a while but hopefully they will get round to fixing this soon.

My Bestia looks so ugly with the crew emblem. Actually, I should make a ticket. If they don't fix this bug, they should at least refund me. It really annoys me, this bug is in the game for a year now, was "patched" twice and now they just forget about it?

So is the the garage slot is forever poisoned? Will selling the car, driving a Surfer into it, then rebuying the car fix it?

So is the the garage slot is forever poisoned? Will selling the car, driving a Surfer into it, then rebuying the car fix it? It seems so, I have found no way to fix it and every time I have bought a Surfer for the slots and then replaced it with another car the crew emblem bug returns to that slot. I am fortunate that on my main account I am only stuck with 2 slots I cannot use because of cars stuck with the emblem bug. However I think I have just come up with a solution for that profile by replacing the two affected vehicles (a Ruiner and a Sabre Turbo) with an NPC Surfer (Lime Green one) which never has the crew emblem added and I've made the other slot my Dubsta2 quick sale slot as the emblem is hidden under the spare tire on that car so you hardly see it.

Quick update to say I finally made a support ticket for this problem with a video showing the issue for an off the street car put in the garage and a car purchased off the websites so Rockstar cannot deny the issue now as it was all captured in the video.
As of yet there is no response to my ticket but they have read it so they know of the issue now.

As of yet there is no response to my ticket but they have read it so they know of the issue now. Just don't get frustrated while working your way to the back room. Your stock response to the stock response they give you: "I tried all of the suggestions, and they did not solve the issue." Always be polite, or it never gets sent up the chain.

No need to worry, I am always polite in my messages to support and I did hint that I might not buy a shark card for the new vehicles just to point out I was willing to spend real money for the update.

Was given a video link to a possible method for solving this problem of the Crew Emeblem not coming off the car which I completed last night but it was 2am in the morning so had to go to bed as had work at 9am.
Technique is this:
1. Go to LSC with affected car. 2. Remove Crew Emblem as normal. 3. Let game save at LSC 4. Drive car back to garage and let game save car inside. 5. Drive another car out of garage. 6. Pause menu > Find New Session
Will report back tonight if it worked or not and will also check on my Support Tickets.
