I'd like to offer a few tips before we get started. 1) Do NOT & I repeat Do NOT under any circumstances kill the hostages, It'll needlessly complicate things. If you do, SWAT will be ready for you the second you leave the Bank, Two SWAT teams alongside regular cops will be right in front of the bank... a Helicopter with Snipers will rob down an additional SWAT team & will be joined by SWAT officers on foot from the Oriental Theater (They'll keep reappearing) once you clear the first roadblock, once you enter the alley, more SWAT teams will try to bottleneck you & your crew. They'll keep spawning all the way to the checkpoint. 2) To keep the Hostage Intimidation Level at max, just hold your Rocket Launcher & that's it... no need to waste ammo or anything. If the Intimidation Level dropped quickly, don't panic ... nothing will happen when the manager starts the alarm, the rest of the heist will continue as usual. 3) If you are playing with an inexperienced player, assign him\her to the Demolition part. Let him\her carry ALL the money & either stay behind while the crew clears the path to the bikes so s\he can follow without losing any money or simply commit suicide once you reach the bikes & trigger the checkpoint ... but in both ways, s\he must exit the bank to trigger next sequence of steps & then return to the bank. 4) If you problems using the bikes, you can either ditch the bikes in favor of the empty Cop Car in the first roadblock ... Or purchase 0604 Las Lagunes Apartment 4 & store your own personal Armored car there ... once you reach the bikes, ride to the garage, then get inside & pick up the crew in your car ... you may not be able to enter the garage from the first try, but it will work eventually. P.S. The armored Cognoscentis, Baller LEs & Schafters have Bullet-Resistance glass so don't let the crew members break it to shoot the cops. You don't habe to worry about that with the Kuruma ... however, its not Explosive-Resistance so no sticky bombs. 5) If you take the car, stay in the car the whole time until you reach the boat... don't jump out of the car when you drive of the clef & make sure your crew is on the same page. 6) If you take the Bikes, everyone should ride his\her own bike.... the FIB tactical teams will be much more aggressive if two crew members are riding in one bike. 7) The roads in Paleto Forest are muddy & you could lose traction easily, so be careful there. P.S. Armored cars are heavy & have their own handling characteristics... so practice first if you are planning on using them. 8) selecting "Player Saved Outfits" before starting the heist could give you an advantage if you own a Heavy Tactical Vest & have it stored in an outfit, The Vest increases your bullet resistance by 50% & soften the damage from falls .... however, the trade-off is speed. The vest is heavy & will slow you down. 9) If you are a VIP during the heist, you won't be able to use Armors from your inventory. 10) Finally, I highlighted most of the gateway routes in this map (check link), so practice them & choose the one suits you best ... Lester's route is highlighted in Yellow .... you don't have to use it & you are free to take any route you like to the boat. onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=9F9D5A9157BE190B!491158&authkey=!ALpHA-AgR3xwczE&v=3&ithint=photo%2cjpg

Once we exit the bank, I use my Grenade Launcher to take out the cops outside the bank by destroying the cars. (Unlike the Rocket\Homing Launcher, The Grenade Launcher holds 10 Grenades in the barrel & doesn't have to reload after every shot).
Once we are in the alley, I switch to the Combat MG (extended Clip) & take out everyone in my way to create a safe path to my crew.
We Destroy the Helicopter & take out the cops, I go for the bikes. Once there, Depending on the leader's desire I'll choose to either take the bike or ditch it in favor of my armored Cognoscenti 55 or armored Baller LE.
If not all crew members get in an armored car, I'll keep a close distance to biker to provide cover fire & a car in case s\he crashes ... think of it as Contingency plan.
Personally, I like to follow the route I highlighted in Green all the way to the boat & make a clean getaway.

Well I played this finale for the first time since August 2015 last night, not being the die hard heister that many seem to be I had no idea how easy this heist finale becomes if you stay back at the bank and wait for the bikes checkpoint to be activated.
My friends basically guided me through how they played the heist (money holder stays in bank) then one does the alley run and the rest stay outside the bank, it was surprisingly easiy as no cops come up to the bank after the alley and traffic returns to normal, then it was just a case of pile in the Kuruma and make for the dinghy.
I can see why the Pac Standard glitch is so popular, using the above it is really easy to make money out of that finale, however it did not convince me enough to play heists.
Sometimes I struggle to understand why I do not play the heists in game, I mean they are well done and all that and some nice stories to them, I always kinda feel the oddball for that.

The problem is finding 3 other players willing to play them the way the heist leader wants them played. I've only gotten to do the finale with the bikes complete with the parachute jump at the end 3 times total, even though I've got the escape route down and even have a race to practice the route. (It seems that finding players good enough to ride bikes and stay on them during the police chase is very difficult) Perhaps the Prison Break finale is the most difficult finale, with no checkpoints, that one can get really frustrating.

That's a sore one for myself actually, I had a Prison Break finale on the phone for the past year, tried to complete it twice on Saturday, first time the pilot crashed the plane. Second time we got all the way through the heist and we had all made into the plane, plane got hit by a random hgih speed Granger SUV cop car and in the bullets spraying from the NOOSE guys I end up dying, seconds from getting the snacks menu open so lost my 40% cut as I cancelled the heist with Lester immediately after out of frustration.

Well it looks like Rockstar are really upping their game in combating glitches/exploits, I've just read on the glitches forum they patched accessing the garage when playing Pacific Standard Finale so no more armoured kuruma's (you can still steal a cop car/riot van though), still seems you can repeat the finale as often as you want with the host disconnect method but it's much harder not to loose money now. Wonder why they have only just finally decided to do this now, I wonder if finally they are going to try and fix some problems before they move onto other projects? Imho, it is a welcome change for me, because everyone does this finale the same way with the Las Lagunas apt and an armored Kuruma. I think I've only ever done it three times on the bikes, which I find more fun and challenging than the "usual" way. But still, it seems R* is trying to close up loopholes on making easy money, for instance, the attacker respawns occur on the yacht rather than the shore during piracy prevention.

People are losing their minds over at GTAF & some folks are threatening to quit the game ... Basically, more salty than usual lol. Personally, I don't really care... I stopped heisting for money once I unlocked The Bigtime Award. I did participate a couple of times afterwards, but it was more trouble than its worth. The question now is, what shall I do with Las Lagunas? But still, it seems R* is trying to close up loopholes on making easy money, for instance, the attacker respawns occur on the yacht rather than the shore during piracy prevention. I wouldn't necessarily call PSJ finale an Easy Money. If you are not hosting it & doing the the disconnection trick yourself ... It's a lot of hassle & headache for a lousy 15%*. (*People got greedy ever since they discovered the disconnection trick) I can get a very close amount of money to that 15% in ~13 minutes by myself thanks to Import\Export & VIP work .... Now that's easy money!

I will probably be the only player never to complete all the heist awards, last I checked I had only partaken in about 20 heist finales but done the award for setups. I really should complete that one day, though I have not actually played a full heist through since August 2015.
