Well this is a strange event. I could've sworn we were supposed to get the new Transform Races, Creator update & the Jester Classic to conclude this dreadful dripfeed. Instead we got new Contact Missions that nobody knew anything about.
As for the Bunker 2x$, I had a feeling that we'll get them, but I sold mine anyway to reach my quota & end the VIP work strong. #IRegretNothing
No purchases for me this time, I already have the Rogue, Volatus & Ellie.

Any more info on the new contact missions would be welcome!
I may have to login and have a look at those at some stage.
I seem to recall them saying the new creator tools would come at the end of May but didn't fix down a date, things must have changed with the
downtime last week but if they have extended it by adding some more things in between this probably means the Jester Classic is coming around
the 12th June which means any new DLC is more likely for mid June.
With GTAForums still being offline for upgrades it's a little hard to figure out what's going on right now!

Typical R*: I'm 12 vehicles away from filling up all my slots and they put not one, not two, not three but FOUR of them on discount and I don't have the means to get them all. Oh well, got me a Molotok and completed my squadron. And I'm a few hundred K away from a Volatus. I may even be able to get the Tezeract with the money from the FMJ it's gonna replace. But no way I can get me an Oppressor this week.
Anyway I have to say I can't remember what was the last vehicle they came up with that I need. The Micheli and Cheburek are nice, no doubt about it, but none of the SSASSS actually fit in any of my garages.

Tails Prower You know I got your back, here's the deal: 1) Martin Madrazo's Dispatch missions: They are assassination jobs, similar to his missions On The List & Judging The Jury. You & your colleagues (2-4) have to assassinate a bunch of people. There 6 missions ranging from regular assassinations that can be done with a helicopter or plane ... Etc to missions infiltrating the Mission Row Police Department or the Merryweather HQ in Elyisan Island. 2) Transform Races: R* said the new races will be released next week, June 5th. 3) Creator Update & The Jester Classic:. Knowing R* & how they've been dragging their feet with this dlc, I can see them releasing them the week after, June 12th. 4) The next DLC. If R* does release the Creator & the Jester on the 12, the most likely will be on the 19th. Speaking of the new dlc, R* confirmed in a tweet last night that we'll get a new Radio Station (House & Techno music) with the next dlc, which means it'll indeed be about nightclubs & the nightlife scene.

Ok, I guess they got my interest for checking out Martin's new missions but not today as I have some important prep work to do for the
new GT Sport update coming out tomorrow.
Think I will play the new missions at the weekend as having a lot of fun with Trap Door adversary mode but I will have some comments on
that later after I finish recording some video footage.

New missions are a surprise but I don't think I'l play them much after checking each one out the once. I much prefer the old contact missions most of which you can do solo. I'm a lone wolf when it comes to missions as I like to play free aim. These days though whenever Rockstar introduce new missions they always make them a 2 player minimum job which I don't like. It all started with the Lamar missions and then it has snowballed from there.
What I will do though is perhaps buy a Tyrus as I never got one of those back in the cunning stunts update and as it features in one of the old transform races it might prove useful. I also bought the Sea Sparrow yesterday and decided not to add the performance upgrades at that time which is good as now I see I can do so during this event at 50% off.
Looking forward to the new transform races next week.

juan That's a tough situation to be in! Difficult choices to make as well. Say, you own 115 cars already? I can relate to that, I have 2 spots left in my Hangar & if the next dlc brings more aircrafts, I'm screwed bigly. I'm also passing on the Michelli & Cheburek, and planning on selling both the Fagaloa & Issi once the new dlc comes out. Which leaves the Ellie & Sea Sparrow as my only SSASSS acquisitions ... Even the Ellie might get the boot if the next dlc brought a '70 Dodge Challenger. pondnewt Yea, same here. I'll probably play it a few times & that's it. The 2-player minimum requirement is a buzzkill. I too haven't updated my Sea Sparrow (or Khanjali for that matter), I was too busy grinding VIP work. I was planning to take a couple days off & play The Crew, but I just can't resist the Bunker 2x$ lol. All these money making opportunities are making me paranoid & think we might be looking at a Smuggler's Run or Cunning Stunts scenario when it comes to the price of things in the next dlc.

I guess my problem will be if we get new storing space what theme to go for: rusty? hipster? racing liveries? With the facility it was easy, I just moved the heavily armed vehicles there and now it really looks like a stronghold ready for the apocalypse |

Yea, coming up with a theme is difficult. That's why I try to keep themes to a minimum in my collection. I only have 2, a 6 Muscle Car collection & a 5 Car Need For Speed collection.

Looks like I misunderstood and got it all wrong. Think it is actually 50% off the purchase of the hangar workshop itself as opposed to a discount on the performance upgrades and weapons etc. No good to me in other words. Won't bother with a Tryus after all either as I didn't realise how expensive they are even with the discount. So I'll think I'll mainly be playing other games this week.

So I spent a couple of hours trying out the new missions & here's my initial thoughts on them: The missions are cool, easy to do solo (I don't know why R* insists on this stupid 2-player minimum requirement), but players with Deluxos & Oppressors suck any fun out of it. That's why my favorite Dispatch so far is Dispatch I, simply because they can't go inside the building with their mememobiles. So I'll think I'll mainly be playing other games this week. I just got my The Crew 2 beta access code & that threw a wrench into my GTA plans. I was planning to split my time between GTA & The Crew, but The Crew 2 changes the equation, especially with it being limited to just a few days. |

I found out the Eldorado Brougham is available in the beta & bought it on the spot, I'll be driving it almost exclusively during the beta to make up for all the times I saw it in The Crew & couldn't get it because it was locked behind a season pass.
