So I have had quite a few issues with my previously created boat races, where downloading the job gives the error message "job contains invalid data and needs to be remade." Bringing it up in creator results in the same error message, and even though I move checkpoints around and reset the starting point, I get the same error message when loading it again in the game or creator.
I thought it had something to do with shallow checkpoints, but I have a seashark race down the Tongva that is just fine.
Contrary to this, I had a capture raid in the Vespucci canals that gave the same error message. When I tried to remake it from scratch, it wouldn't allow me to place seasharks in the canals, which defeated the point of the match.

This is the big problem with created jobs at the moment.
This comes about from changes to the boundaries where checkpoins and starting grids can be placed.
It came about from the glitches that had races and jobs built under the map so to make the jobs no longer work R* changed the boundaries meaning any checkpoints or starting grids placed on shallow ground or beaches will no longer work and flag as an invalid job data.
The only way to fix this is to move the starting point onto higher ground that is a valid point.
You can tell this because the circle will be white for a valid checkpoint and it will be red if it's invalid but as you have found if you try to remake the job other parts like the vehicle spawns become invalid as well.
At present there are no obvious signs of a solution for this but I did hear that they just recently changed to allow underwater props so it might be worth waiting to see if they fix this in future.

Well, it seems the only solution is to remake the job from scratch, deleting all checkpoints doesn't seem to work.
It's just all that time put in to get likes on a creation is for naught.

Yes I know, it is very frustrating, unfortunately it seems the focus is not on fixing bugs with the creator that affect actual gameplay but having to work on the main game and the glitches which currently run rampant through it.
I have not made any jobs or published new ones for some time now due to this reasoning but then my time for such things is now limited thanks to GT Sport but that's another day's story.
