So I finally played this for the first time.
Each round is an LTS - so, if your hoping to mass kill a bunch of players, this won't be your game. Each side switches between Hunter and Hunted, and teams should be nearly the same size if team balancing is on, and you aren't playing with a bunch of whiny wussies that quit the match right before or right after it starts.
Hunters have shotguns with a flashlight. You'll need to turn it on, because you won't be able to see anything otherwise. You need to be watching your back, or if you have a real team, have your teammates watch your back.
The Hunted have a flashlight and thermal vision that you need to turn on with R-dpad. It's an almost unfair advantage, since you can see 'em coming. The flashlight's only purpose is to kill Hunters.
I never noticed any hunted on the radar when I was a hunter, nor hunters when I was a hunted (teammates are marked though) There were no weapons, armor or health pickups.
