Nothing much in this week's event for me I'm afraid.
I already bought all my offices and upgrades and I have Buzzard's for every character already, if I had the space for the Reaper that would be a temptation but sadly a no go so I guess I'll not be partaking this week.
The premium races are out of the question since I know I will always loose money and that's a no go...
I really think Rockstar need to think about this now, event weeks are good but when you've already bought everything they are offering there is not much special from the event, this is the first week in a long while I've not actually played the game.
I've been pretty loyal with my consistent play but this...not really interested.

I've been pretty loyal with my consistent play but this...not really interested. You don't do AM? I like AMs, but the problem is participation, then getting players smart enough to understand the objectives and play to win rather than try to play it like a COD match. The double GTA$ helps with the participation problem, but doesn't help with the stupid problem. The premium race changes every week, so it does give those serious about it a chance to practice. To tell you the truth, I've never entered a premium race yet, not until I feel confident about winning one. I think it's good that R* is adding things that perhaps only a segment of the players will use and enjoy, you know, just like not everyone enjoys golfing, but GTA Online has a really good golf game in it for the players that do. Crate work, it retrospect, to me is just another activity added to the game. If you think about it, it actually is a kind of clever addition - it is both a co-op mission and an adversarial mission that takes place in free mode. You can get burned out doing them, especially if you do them solo in empty sessions (*yawn*), but there's still plenty of other stuff to do in the game that's been there. It sounds to me that you're getting a little burned out playing GTA online, which is understandable, and you may go on to play other games for a while, but I'm pretty sure you'll be back at after a month or two especially after new DLC releases, which is my point as to why GTA is a long term success.

I enjoy all 3 adversary modes that are part of this week. Just occurred to me that I should make a playlist featuring other maps of these modes. Will do it tmoro.

With regard to AM I'd love to play them more but as you say the problem is participation and not end up Call of Duty style is the problem, in general though I am not a PVP type personality so I prefer just to play these as and when my mood takes me. The problem for me is I already know I won't be able to win a premium race, although I consider myself a good racer the style of racing in GTA Online means I rate my chances of winning very low but this is all down to me and also the fact I don't have custom versions of most of the cars that win race but the biggest bug bear about it that put me off and always will is that $20,000 entry fee as the odds are I would loose more money than I'd ever win, that's my CEO head talking there as I reckon it would take me about 10 races to actually get the winners payout but again that's just me, $10,000 and I'd be right in there though as could afford that each time. You are absolutely right that variety and new specialist parts of the game world are a great idea (I do golf from time to time!) so nothing wrong with anything that has been added. Crate work as you say is perhaps the best of everything in a public lobby along with everything else. As for your last point well I have been playing GTA Online solid almost without a break since December 2015 so burned out is probably the right word but we shall see what happens, as I said in the other topic depends what content they offer us in the next DLC as to how quickly I jump in and have a look.
