Can somebody answer me a question please?
Why is it trying to make primary and secondary checkpoints for track split races seems to be very awkward.
I have just spent nearly an hour finding that every primary checkpoint on my track was cancelling out the secondary checkpoints so the user couldn't finish the race.
Now when I try to put in the primary checkpoints again it seems to be making a secondary as well so preventing me publishing the race. Anyone any ideas?

Now when I try to put in the primary checkpoints again it seems to be making a secondary as well so preventing me publishing the race. Anyone any ideas? In my experience, here is how it works: each primary checkpoint may have a secondary checkpoint. If you have a series of secondary checkpoints, there must be a primary checkpoint for each one. When you actually run the race, and trigger either one, it also triggers the other one (making it disappear). When you are placing a secondary checkpoint, it will show a small white line to corresponding primary checkpoint, so assumably you can place it in the same distance along in the race as the primary. I think the editing process is a bit confusing, after placing a secondary checkpoint - you can place the next secondary checkpoint in the series. It's not really designed to insert more secondary checkpoints, and that is what really confused me for a while. To insert another secondary checkpoint, put the cursor on the corresponding primary and press triangle and then you can place it.

Yes I think I figured it out but need to fix the race in question tonight and do some tidying up of it before publishing.
It looks like you can't make a shorter secondary route than primary route as basically I was trying to force you all to take the longer track route and make a cheeky secondary route that was quicker however I will have to put it the other way round now I guess.

A quick question as taking some time out today to organize my laptop folders and images et all but I was looking at this newswire pic and trying to figure out which corners would allow for this type of crossover corner. Would this be a 180 corner and a medium right/left or can anyone give me the exact corner I should use?

According to GTA Forums moans, the stunt race creator no longer has the option to make a GTA race and any existing tracks have been converted to standard races.
Never made any GTA races myself so unable to confirm but will have a check on the creator tonight.

I have a few stunt races built as non stunt race tracks, which are locked to GTA races for 2 purposes, firstly to lay health packs down for pit lanes and secondly as a way of testing new cars with crew mates (you get in their new car and they can dupe another).
Hopefully they realise the error and correct it soon.
Do you know if its possible to switch through the race options in the lobby now ? (as it was before stunt update) so if I publish a non contact race can the host change this to contact in the lobby ? hopefully they have fixed this as most of my races are designed for contact racing with clean race friends but if I hit that auto invite button it would be nice to change it to non contact in the lobby.

Big rant on that on GTA Forums, GTA has been removed from Stunt Race creator completely, the race lobby now allows you to switch from Normal to Non Contact when hosting but no GTA option.

There seems to be a bug with the Stunt Race creator -- I've got two races now, where they are not stunt races - no stunt props, and they show up on the menu as a regular race and not a stunt race. However, when I run them, the start sequence and the final sequence, as well as the check points sounds are from stunt races and not normal land races. Other than having to recreate the race, so anyone know of a way to fix this?

It seems to pick the wrong audio and use the stunt race files rather than the normal ones, I also have that on a couple of air races.

Special Vehicle Race props are now reported as added to the creator according to the web.
After my shift at work today I guess it's time to make my first Special Vehicle Race.

Well I believe I have found my new enjoyment with the game for a while.
The new stunt props offer some interesting possibilities when it comes to racing and using the Special Vehicles and unlike regular stunt race and regular races I think it's going to be quite interesting to see what people come up with for each Special Vehicle's features.
I've made my first race for the Ruiner 2000 (link later) which sets you in a race environment above Fort Zancudo so requires some use of the jump ability, parachute and some light relief as in the drop zones I've put in some footballs and goal nets for the players to punt the ball in the net.
I've also tried to keep the areas close together so that if it's set as a GTA race (which I imagine most would do) then you can make use of the machine guns/missiles against your rivals.
Can see me spending hours in the creator for awhile as I am in the mood for making some new races.
