What is the best non custom super car for stunt races? Even though it is now slower than it once was the RE 7B is still considered the best supercar for races (stunt or otherwise) but you have to be a pretty good driver to unlock all of its potential as you have to be confident to go around the corners really fast. The RE 7B is supposed to be the best for cornering speed as the Elegy RH8 is in the sports class. I'm not really good enough myself to make the most of it around the corners. Other supercars like the Zentorno, Osiris, Tempestra, X80 Proto, T20 and the previously mentioned Nero are all very good options though. The best non custom one for straight line speed is the 811 (not very good around a tight track though) with the Banshee 900R being the best I think for top speed though of course that is a Benny's vehicle.

Cool! I have a fully modded 900R, and even though it isn't that good with handling, it can drift and double clutch easily, and if you know how to use it, drifting in this can compare to the futo.

So i went back to racing after a month or so of serious grinding and oh surprise, i got smoked in the new stunt races in a regular basis. I thought i was a bit rusted but after getting back the handle of it i still could barely make the podium. Now you have to understand I used to win more often than not and now my trusty re7b just watches the leaders from behind. I know the 7b has been nerfed but still it was ridiculous I couldn't even win with contact off until I realized... The Nero custom is killing these races. With brutal top speed and handling it seems made specifically for these stunts. I realized I could only catch up in corners where traction and acceleration gave me the upper hand, but this latest batch of stunt races seems to have less cornering than the first one. I gave my banshee 900R a few tries but acceleration is a bit lacking and cornering sucks. I'll be giving my X80 (seems pretty close to the nero in top speed, traction and aceleration) a run just to confirm my theory, but it suddenly seems i'll need to spend a couple million dollars just to be competitive again

The Nero is the ultimate all rounder... Brutal acceleration, impressive top speed (a bit slower than the 811 though) & handles extremely well. If you can do the "turbo launch" & not crash later on, you'll own the race... Be it regular or stunt race. The Custom is more of a cosmetics upgrade really. Mostly to get that VisionGT or race car look. You'd need a professional-grade stopwatch, sheets to keep track & perfect runs to notice any performance differences. I have the regular Nero with only a lvl4 engine upgrade (& bulletproof tires) & I've beaten every Custom that raced against me ... That said, I'm not a professional racer as I occasionally race when its 2x$ on races to unlock the paints. And I imagine the Nero would be the ultimate track weapon in the hands of a professional racer. You can see mine in the Nero Discussion Thread ... gtaonline.freeforums.net/thread/750/truffade-nero-custom-discussionTry out the Nero in races before you buy it. And if you are not convinced, wait for the Progen GP1

I'm frankly getting tired of Benny's "I'll turn your car into a racing car" trick. We need more Specters

But in the Nero's defense the Bugatti Chrion is bound to break lots of records & although unlikely I won't be surprised if it sat a new Nürburgring record as well. Good thing you brought up the ItaliGTB, now that's a faux race car, as average as it gets performance wise & wasn't built with stunt races in mind. I saw one crash into the ramp last night. The car is that low & the splitter is that long. Plus, the Custom is noticeably slower than the regular ItaliGTB. so unless you want it for pure looks or completing a Progen collection, I advise against it. As for owning a Nero, why not put it in the office garage with the rest of the luxury cars? It's a luxury GT first & foremost. Its interior* looks stunning & very luxurious when you use browns for Its interior color. _______ It have a new completely unique & highly detailed interior.

How you get to know someone through a forum. I knew you were going to ask that. I was even gonna answer it in the previous post. The answer is of course my OCD. Ever since we got liveries I feel kinda wrong racing with a "plain" car. I guess I'm just wired that way

Okay, why not move the race cars into an office garage? That way you'll have 20 spots for your current racecar stable alongside space for potential expansions. That said, I'm the opposite. I don't like liveries lol.
