Could be, I just realized I have owned my Dubsta 6x6 for a year and seven months now as I was just uploading my first recorded mission (Time to Get Away) which was recorded on 23 December 2014, I have hardly driven it since. I also came across this shot from the Vinewood Hills era - ah happy memories! Benefactor Dubsta 2 - The Memory of Vinewood Hills by Tails Prower, on Flickr

Yes quite a few there, my best pal in the game (no longer plays sadly) was an expert Dubsta2 spawner at Vinewood Hills and we spent many many hours each evening spawning/storing them for sale later during the days of the glitch where you could increase the sale value and was my main source of game income.
Happy Days!

So I decided to check the spawn rate of D2s after the 1.34 update dropped. Seems about the same. It took me 2.5 hours to fill up 10 garage slots with D2s during a timelocked mission, it is still a higher rate of profit to farm Sandkings instead. Here's most of them kept in this garage:

People who argue that the Dubsta2 is better for business always neglect to factor-in the time you wasted trying to spawn it. Car-per-car the Dubsta2 always wins & a 10-car stock will net you $52,550 to $62,250 more than the Sandking! No disputing that, but if you can't spawn it reliably & in timely manner, then its a waste of time. Let's take your most recent effort for example ... It took you 2½ hours just to fill up 10-car stock. That's 150 minutes, you could've sold 3 Sandkings during that same time period & made $52,575 to $55,485 from Sandkings alone in addition to VIP\CEO\Missions\Heists work! You can fill up a 10-car stock of Sandkings in about 10 minutes & sell the 11th one to pay for the trackers. And you don't even have to sell from your own stock... if you timed it right, you can just grab a random XL from Grapeseed & use it to spawn a modded one for you. When you put all the pieces together, you'll see that the Sandking is ... Well, The King.

I have to disagree about the difficulty of spawning the Dubsta2 but perhaps that is down to experience since I've been doing it since 2014.
Monday evening I stockpiled 7 Dubsta2's within a 30 minute slot outside LSC at the airport with my garage just beside the spawn point whereas I struggle with Sandkings in that they never spawn frequently when out at Sandy Shores and invariably I am in a mission so I then have to drive alll the way back to town and back out again for the next one so they take longer for me.
I do have some video on the subejct so I shall try to upload to the discussion over the weekend.
For me though 100% reliable farming is the Sentinal XS, a guaranteed spawn and stockpiled full garage within 15 mins or less.

Please post the vid, I'd really like to see how you get that high of a success rate. Both Sandkings spawns are 100% for me, and since they are in Blaine Co, you have less problems with other players interfering.

I struggle with Sandkings in that they never spawn frequently ... That's odd. The modded one only spawns between 9 a.m. & 5 p.m., but you have to be in another Sandking XL to trigger the spawn. (you can grab an XL from Grapeseed) I prefer Larry's RV spawn point over the Lago Zancudo one. I find the dirt road method to be the most reliable (100% success for me). Sorry, I don't have a video so I write it down: 1) Use the dirt road between the Prison & Redwood Track to get to Larry's RV lot. 2) Once you grab a modded XL, drive it to LSC to put a tracker in it. 3) Head south on the same dirt road in your newly acquired modded XL until you reach the last Electricity Pole right before the intersection that takes you to the Redwood track (also a dirt road). 4) Turn around & repeat step 1. 5) Repeat steps 1-4 as many times you like. 6) Once you filled your stock completely, acquire one last XL & sell it to recoup the money you spent on trackers. 7) Sell one every 48 minutes. 8) Profit. I agree, using a mission to spawn it is very counterproductive.... The XL is slow as hell. For me though 100% reliable farming is the Sentinal XS, a guaranteed spawn and stockpiled full garage within 15 mins or less. I spawned a few of them, but eventually decided to stick with the Sandking ... But I'll give the Dubata another try.

The only thing that is really that much different between what you are doing and I am doing is that your bait D2 spawns nearby (either by exiting the garage or calling the mechanic). I usually go up and down the road to the north, but I'll try busting the the fence and circling around like you do.

Well I am going to be doing some stockpiling myself tomorrow so I'll report how it goes, just remember that the best method appears to be go slow towards LSC.
